Saturday, March 10, is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD). The nationwide observance calls attention to the virus’s impact on women and girls. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women’s Health (OWH) coordinates the initiative. This year, OWH is partnering with the Greater Than AIDS campaign to ask, “What’s your deciding moment?” The hope is to inspire people to think about everyday opportunities to take action against HIV.
