The federal government is again offering free COVID-19 rapid antigen tests to all U.S. households. Each household may order four tests, which will be sent by mail directly to the home at no charge. Orders will begin shipping on November 27.
People who have not yet ordered any tests this fall since the program reopened on September 25 may place two orders, for a total of eight tests.
Click here to order free COVID tests (https://www.covid.gov.tests).
For help placing an order, Call 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489).
Note that some of the provided tests may be past the expiration date on the box, but the Food and Drug Administration has extended those dates.
In addition to this offer, the government will continue to make COVID tests available for uninsured people and underserved communities through existing outreach programs. Please contact a HRSA-funded health center or Increasing Community Access to Testing (ICATT) location near you to learn how to access low- or no-cost COVID tests from the federal government.
